Nich Musco is a freelance cinematographer and ICG Local 600 camera and steadicam operator. He earned his BA in Cinematography at Columbia College Chicago and his MFA in cinematography at the American Film Institute Conservatory and is currently an associate member of the SOC (Society of Camera Operators).
Nich has experience with both film and digital cameras and formats. Visual storytelling is of the utmost importance in his approach to filmmaking. Creation through contrast and juxtaposition is a concept Nich frequently explores.
Currently living in Los Angeles, and having lived and worked in Chicago, and the greater New York and New England areas, Nich continues to learn in an ever evolving industry. He focuses strongly on mood and motivation in his work in order to strengthen storytelling as well as creatively and effectively engage an audience. We tell stories because it's in our nature. To do so with visuals is an extraordinary art.
